The Hezbollah used FPV drones to attack several armored vehicles of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) that had been stationed in an open area in Lebanon.

In footage released by the group, it is possible to see that the Israel Defense Forces positioned three armored personnel carriers and a tank behind several buildings.

The operator conducted reconnaissance of the camp and then carefully selected the target. At the end of the clip, the FPV drone can be seen striking the rear of a heavy armored vehicle Namer.

This is one of the few armored personnel carriers in the world with reinforced frontal armor protection. Knowing this, drones attempting to attack it aim for the rear or the top of the vehicle.

The attack took place in the city of Bint Jbeil, near the border with Israel. Such FPV drone attacks by the Hezbollah are becoming routine as the IDF attempts to advance in southern Lebanon.

Such attacks demonstrate that even modern equipment of the Israel Defense Forces is vulnerable to cheap and highly precise weapons such as Hezbollah FPV drones.

Currently, Israel is trying to push the Hezbollah away from its borders and create a buffer zone, but the modern form of warfare involving widespread drone use may complicate the implementation of these plans.
